This painter of sporting and carriage scenes was born in Paris in the 19th century. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1874.
His subjects varied from actual portraiture in an equestrian format to more general social scenes of elegant figures in carriages or out riding. The majority of his works are in the small to medium range but some large examples are recorded.
