Exhibited in Japan at the Exhibition of French Contemporary Art in 1904
This artist was born in Avignon in 1843. He was the brother and pupil of Pierre Grivolas who painted genre and portraits, principally in watercolour.
Antoine specialised in flower and landscape subjects and he first exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1877 and obtained an honourable mention in 1884. The museum at Niort has a work entitled Un Coin de Parc Montsouris and a painting entitled Jardin de l'Observatoire.
Grivolas died at Vallauris in 1902.
